Glynna Prentice
Glynna Prentice got the travel bug at an early age. After traveling around the U.S. with her family as a child, she took on Europe during college, and returned to work as a field archaeologist in the UK before attending graduate school in New York. Later stints abroad included working in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in international banking, and in Spain working as a strategic consultant for (then) Price Waterhouse.
Most recently, Glynna Prentice lived in New York City, where she worked in health care information with a major Internet health care portal. She now makes her home in Campeche, on the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico.
Glynna Prentice attended college at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, and also holds an MS in Journalism from Columbia University in New York and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Glynna Prentice will explain why Mexico is the world’s number one retirement destination.
She’ll tell you about how to best take advantage of the considerable savings waiting for you on medical treatments, for instance. Hip replacement? Stateside it would be $43,000 to $63,000. In Mexico, $12,000. Cataract surgery? Up north, $5,000 to $6,000 per eye. In Mexico, $1,600 to $1,800.
And, of course, Glynna Prentice will share her favorite spots for pampered, good-value living…some inland, some coastal…and the places where she sees the most profit potential, too.
