Jessica Ramesch

Jessica Ramesch is no stranger to “international living”—she has called the U.S., India, and Panama home, and studied International Politics and Diplomacy with a full scholarship from the University of Richmond. After graduating with honors, she went on to work as a writer for organizations such as the Panama Canal while moonlighting as a GMAT and GRE verbal instructor for Master’s level courses at Kaplan Panama.

Before joining International Living as our Panama correspondent, Jessica Ramesch toured the world as head of shipboard guest relations training at Carnival Corporation. Over the course of four years she moved up in rank from Cadet to Second Officer, but then decided to abandon ship and live the good life as a landlubber.

Jessica Ramesch speaks Spanish and French and is studying Italian and Portuguese. She spends her days writing, traveling, and learning new things, and likes to unwind by scouting out Panama’s restaurants for great food and wine.
